The RSPCA is the leading UK animal welfare charity. We specialise in rescue, animal welfare and preventing animal cruelty.

Company description
With over 150 years of international experience, our overseas work today is a highly strategic, proactive programme in Europe, East Asia and southern Africa, for the benefit of animals and people in society, agriculture, industry and the environment. This includes: working with local partners on a wide range of animal welfare projects from stray dog management to developing animal welfare education in the national curriculum; delivering customised training courses ranging from alternatives to laboratory animals in education through to farm animal welfare for veterinary professionals; responding to a variety of emergency situations such as oil spills in South Africa and Belgium, and the earthquake in Haiti in 2010. We recognise that we live in a changing world in which issues such as food quality and safety, public health, sustainable agriculture and the environment, increasingly and inextricably link animal welfare and human welfare.

It would have been useful to know before we made our journey that rabbits were not treated here. I drove my poorly rabbit for 1 hour to get to the clinic to then have to drive for another hour to get to another veterinary hospital. My poorly rabbit could have done without this added stress. To overcome this I suggest a simple addition to the website listing the animals they are able to treat, which I have been told by the staff is just cats and dogs.

Because I don't revive income support/job seekers ect they've refused to treat my sick pet. I'm still on an income of less than £200pw and recieve CTC but apparently that's not good enough. The girl who answed the phone was impolite and unhelpful so thank you salfords RSPCA I really appreciate your help.
